Title: Site Carpenter
Reports to: Site supervisor/ Contracts Manager/ work programmer depending on the project
-
To ensure that their work meets agreed programmes of work at a profit, safely and to the required standard.
To work on site(s) in line with the Companyβs health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
To work well with clients, client representatives and sub-contractors on your sites
-
Ensuring all site carpentry, they carry out are to the required standard and completed within the required time.
- Liaising with clients where necessary
β’ Controlling of any additional works
β’ Assisting in the setting up and monitoring of on-site training programme for apprentice site carpenters.
β’ To adhere to all site health and safety including:
- Adherence to all applicable health and safety legislation.
- Adherence to site rules.
- Implementation of method statements.
β’ Maintaining the confidentiality of clients and the company at all times.
β’ Ensuring ISO9001, 18001 and ISO14001 processes are adhered to on site.
β’ Ensuring adherence to all relevant environmental legislation
β’ Developing and coaching employees so they learn new skills and behaviour
β’ Introduce new and better ways to meet site programme and company aims.

β’ Minimum of City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in site carpentry
β’ Full, clean driving licence

β’ Ability to carry out all tasks as indicated in site carpenter core competencies (as attached)
β’ Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
β’ Manage the achievement of customer satisfaction
β’ Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory ethical and social requirements
β’ Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
β’ To be able to communicate effectively with clients
β’ To be able to communicate and submit information to the office effectively
